What You’ll Actually DO

• Lead Video Projects - Start to Epic Finish: You own the video edit from concept to final export. We're talking brand videos, social campaigns, website motion graphics, maybe even some longer-form stuff. You're the captain of the video ship.

• Creative Visionary & Execution Master: You're not just technical, you're creative. You bring vision to projects, elevate the storytelling, and make sure the final product is visually stunning and strategically on point.

• Client Collaboration (Pro Level): You'll work with clients. Present concepts, take feedback (like a pro, not a crybaby), and ensure client vision aligns with video awesomeness. Be the video expert they trust.

• Software Arsenal - Command It All: Adobe Premiere Pro? Child's play. After Effects? Your playground. Motion Graphics? Color Correction? Audio Mixing? You're fluent in the language of video post-production. If you know DaVinci Resolve, even cooler.

• Workflow Guru - Optimize the Chaos: Streamline video editing workflows, manage projects efficiently, keep things organized (because chaos is the enemy of awesome video). Efficiency with a creative brain, not just process for process' sake.

• Mentor the Young Blood (Pass on the Wisdom): Guide and mentor junior video editors, sharing your knowledge and helping them level up. Be the video Yoda they need (minus the weird grammar, maybe).

You're Kinda Perfect If

• Been Around the Block (Senior = Senior): 5+ years of professional video editing experience. Agency experience? Major bonus. Student films and YouTube cat videos don't count as "senior" experience.

• Portfolio That's Straight Fire: Your reel isn’t just good, it’s jaw-dropping. Show us a diverse range of video work: different styles, formats, clients. Prove you're a versatile video editing beast.

• Storytelling Instincts - Sharpened AF: You don’t just cut footage, you craft stories. You understand pacing, rhythm, emotion, and how to make video content that resonates and moves people (beyond just their eyeballs).

• Technical Mastery - Inside & Out: You know video editing software inside and out. Codecs? Frame rates? Color grading? Audio mixing? You speak the tech language fluently, and you know how to push the tools to their limits.

• Client-Ready Confidence (Presentation Skills are +): You can present your work confidently, articulate your creative choices, and handle client feedback with grace (and maybe a touch of steel).
